Blackjack is the only game at the green table where the odds of the dealer and player baccarat online are almost equal, both in traditional gambling halls and live online casino malaysia. This allows us to adopt behaviors based on functioning mathematical strategies.
Using a good strategy in blackjack allows you to minimize the house edge by bringing it to values that oscillate around 1%. This value may change, however, depending on the casino and the game variant chosen.
What we offer on this page is a good basic strategy that is well suited to all types of blackjack, even online, since it does not take into account the cards already out but only the mathematical probabilities. This is a behavior table that highlights the statistically correct action based on the value of the player’s hand.
Before continuing, we immediately highlight some important aspects to consider:
- The dealer has a strong advantage because he is the last to speak; that is, he waits for the player’s decision before taking action. This is compensated for by some factors: the dealer must ask for cards for scores less than or equal to 16 and stand for scores of 17 or higher. In other words, either reach at least 17 or bust.
- The calculation of the probabilities must be done according to the number of decks put into play. It can be said that fewer decks benefit the player. We must take into consideration a substantial difference between traditional and online casinos: In the first, the used cards are put aside until the change of the decks; in the second after each hand, all the cards are shuffled. However, this does not have a decisive influence on the calculation of probabilities.
STRATEGY TO BEAT THE DEALER: BASIC BEHAVIOR TABLE
To view the strategic table for blackjack we have made, just click on the image. Alternatively, you can use the alternative version presented below.
The left column shows all the possible values of the player’s hand, divided into 3 categories: simple scores, pairs of identical cards, and hands in which there is an ace. In the upper part, however, the possible scores of the dealer’s face-up card are listed.
The method to follow in interpreting the table is very simple and reminds of the naval battle. Just cross the row equivalent to the player’s hand with the dealer’s exposed card column to find out which is the mathematically correct move.
The values indicate the following actions: PAPER and STAI need no explanation, DOUBLE indicates a double down and SPLIT indicates the division of a pair.
As you can see, the combination of an Ace with any value ten-card is missing. In this case, you made a blackjack; there is no need to adopt any strategy!
